Irma Thomas is a Grammy Award-winning soul, rhythm, and blues singer known as the Soul Queen of New Orleans! Born in 1941, she began singing at the age of 13. Her first single reached #22 on the US Billboard R&B chart in 1959. Otis Redding and The Rolling Stones covered some of her songs that scored them hits!
