Musical Legends Park Posted on: Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 12:02:35 (CDT) The Musical Legends Park of New Orleans is located at 311 Bourbon Street. The lush jazz park in the heart of the French Quarter's famous Bourbon Street, New Orleans Musical Legends Park houses a number of bronze statues honoring a few of the city's more noteworthy artists and performers. To date, the life-sized figures include: Al Hirt, Pete Fountain, Fats Domino, Chris Owens, Ronnie Cole, and Louis Prima. More live music than many clubs, the park offers jazz beginning at 10:00am seven days a week. The music in the park continues until midnight with a showcase of New Orleans talent. Many visitors and locals alike take their photo with one of the life size bronze statues of the New Orleans musicians who put our unique musical heritage on the map. The park intends to expand with coming statues of Irma Thomas and Allen Toussaint.
