Business Growth Forecasted by Café Beignet
Café Beignet has been located in the French Quarter since 1990. It began with the 334-B Royal Street location adjacent to the 8th District Police Station, and which is still a big favorite with local business people as well as tourists. Expansion over the years included a location at 819 Decatur Street in the lower Quarter and in 2005 the wonderful patio café in Musical Legends Park, 311 Bourbon Street.
The Café at 819 Decatur Street was closed on August 1st, in anticipation of locating a larger and more effective location for the third Café Beignet. Meanwhile the Royal and Bourbon Street locations are thriving. Donna Shay, General Manager, commented that the Decatur location was quite successful but the limited size indicated a much needed new facility.
Donna Shay, will be overseeing the development of this addition to life and business for the company, and notice of the new location will be released in late 2009.
